My name is Louise, and I was set to this path as far back as I can remember. It’s eerie how clear it is to me now. I picked up my first drink at 10 and it was the balm that got me through.

I have 32 years of personal and professional experience in the field of recovery. I earned my masters degree in 2001 and have worked with teens, adults, and seniors battling co-occuring disorders.

I am on a mission. It starts with my fundamental belief that all parents love their children and want to protect them, no matter what.

I put my giggling, loving boy to bed one night with a kiss and an ‘I love you’ and in the morning the light behind his eyes had gone out. It was that fast.
